I design
Great UI designs and User experiences has always had a tingling touch in me, although I engineer more, when I am not, I am on Adobe XD or Figma creating intuitive user interfaces and well tailored user experiences with the help of good UX research. All in all I love designing 😊.
I develop
I am not afraid to open up my IDE and begin building great and the next big products using JavaScript. With honed skill and a lot of libraries in my arsenal, sometimes I would like to think I can build anything 😎.

Lead Frontend Engineer (React/React Native) @GyzerTech (Remote)
May 2024 - Present
- Set technical direction for a 3-product React and React Native portfolio serving over 2,000 active users with defined architecture, TypeScript conventions, and reusable component and data patterns across Glix, Schedu, and BooknClean.
- Owned end-to-end frontend delivery for Glix, a workforce operations platform used by 15+ client organisations: real-time dashboards, geolocation and checkpoint flows, safety check-ins, and auto-rostering.
- Led the BooknClean marketplace across web (Vite/React) and native (Expo) for the UK services: postcode search, cleaner profiles and trust signals, booking, and payments. Reduced average booking flow completion time by roughly 40% by consolidating steps, clarifying validation, and cutting redundant screens in the checkout path.
- Shipped Schedu’s meeting and event scheduling experience with a calendar-centric UX that cut average scheduling round-trips from 4 messages to 1 link share.
- Drove a front-end platform refresh that improved Lighthouse performance scores by 30% and cut initial bundle size by 45% through code splitting, lazy loading, route-level optimisation, and a stricter asset strategy.
- Led a team of 3 frontend engineers: ran weekly code reviews, introduced PR templates that reduced review turnaround from 2 days to under 6 hours, and maintained a consistent 2-week sprint cadence.

September 2025 - Present
- Senior frontend engineer for Bill Station, a fintech startup serving individuals and SMEs with an integrated money platform transfers, bill and utility payments, airtime and data, cable and internet subscriptions, airtime-to-cash, travel (flights, hotels, airport pick-ups), virtual dollar cards, gift cards, and Bitcoin delivered through secure web and app experiences (React, Tailwind).
- Led execution across the frontend team: broke work into clear deliverables, assigned tasks to other developers, and reviewed progress so the marketing site, authenticated app flows, and shared UI stayed consistent with product and design.
- Established CI/CD with GitHub Actions with automated lint, build, and deploy pipelines to AWS Amplify, cutting manual deployment steps from ~15 minutes to under 2 minutes per release. Configured Amazon S3 to host static assets used by transactional and marketing email templates.

- Built and maintained production Next.js and React experiences with Tailwind CSS component-driven layouts, reusable UI patterns, and predictable state and data boundaries across client projects.
- Delivered Lohli’s public surfaces around “Engage. Advertise. Connect.” responsive marketing pages, clear paths for users and advertisers, and API-backed flows wired to backend services with solid loading, empty, and error states.
- Shipped BESDA’s official web presence: structured content architecture, intuitive navigation, and a mobile-first layout tuned for a wide public audience.
- Partnered closely with backend engineers on API contracts, typing where applicable, and integration details so features shipped with fewer regressions and easier troubleshooting in production.
- Raised performance across both projects through code splitting, lazy loading, and image optimisation, achieving sub-3-second first contentful paint on 3G connections and keeping bundle sizes under 200 KB gzipped.

- Designed and shipped the institution’s new public site in React and Next.js component-driven layouts, clearer information architecture, and a structure suited to long-form academic and programme content.
- Integrated WordPress as a headless CMS via its REST API so editorial teams could keep publishing in WordPress while the Next.js front end rendered posts and listings consistently with the rest of the experience.
- Implemented French and English support end to end copy, routing, and layout considerations so the same codebase could serve multilingual audiences across Benin, Nigeria, and Côte d’Ivoire.
- Owned performance tuning, cross-browser QA, and production debugging: iterative optimisation from first launch through stabilisation as content and traffic grew.
